This little guy is part of my on-going 'collectabills' series of work. Miniature paintings all 5x5 inches in size. The idea behind the series is that you can add to your collection over time to create a wall of miniature pieces.
For #13 I was thinking about the fantail bird and became carried away as usual illustrating the feathers.
The sides of the canvas have been painted as well for a larger impact on the wall.
The paintings in this series are meticulously painted, taking MANY hours to complete. As such, I paint only a handful every now and then
