They were right.
These artworks represent the stories of dreams.
When you were young, were you read stories at bed time? Didn't it ignite your imagination? This experience from my childhood gave me a start in dreaming up visions and exploring ideas in the parallel universe of imagination.At an early age art became the opportunity to explore big dreams and ideas. To start to build a world I longed to see. A world where there were not many boundaries, only possibilities and potential.

Like most people, I live in a city. This alone is enough to fill me with a strong desire for nature and dreaming of escaping into it!Nature evokes wonder and intrigue within. It takes you down the rabbit hole and never ceases to surprise you with its strange and magical curiosities. I get struck with awe over the grandness of the universe and its small details. I look to it as a supreme source of beauty and inspiration.
Actually - to me - God is in the detail and I am on a quest for enlightenment. Natures forms are my teachers from which I must learn. |
Paint by feel.It's all about feeling.The art I make has a story that is tangled up in sentimentalism, nostalgia and personal experiences.
All of the energy and experiences I've been through gets put into my artistic expressions. When I'm commissioned to paint I draw upon my own understanding of the commission subject so that the artistic result is always meaningful and has a connection with the subject. It's important to connect with the subjects I'm painting so as to create something authentic and beautiful.
