New Releases. Work in progress pieces. Projects. D.I.Y. Behind the scenes. Sketchbook tours.
The piece is based on this old painting I did when I first started out. Parrots. I didn't know anything about quality art materials back then, I just painted with what I had left over from school. I wish we learned about that sort of thing in class. It would have saved me a lot of trouble. Over the years certain colours have faded almost completely so that it's now basically useless unless I 'restore' those colours. Oh well... Lesson learnt!
